There is an argument over Labour achievements, and use of stats which are a double edged sword…if they say that things are better then they are seen as lies; if they say things are worse they are used to attack Labour. We remember Lewes in Tory times in the 80s and early 90s, with empty shops and unemployment.
The last time we had economic problems and a world wide downturn the Tories were in charge of the country, and we had millions of unemployed, the decimation of manufacturing industry, cuts in public services and the sell off of public services.
Do you really think the Tories can help us now
Only Labour can steer us through these troubled times to a better future.
